Vintage Shani Doll Black Barbie African American 1990s 90s

This is the vintage Shani Black Barbie doll, dating to approximately the early to mid 90s. This African American doll was designed by Kitty Black Perkins, as an ethnically correct line of Mattel dolls that was complementary to Barbie dolls. Shani was the lead doll with her own set of friends. She has a deep, rich complexion with long, cottony black hair. Her head tilts. Her waistline turns. Her arms move outward, inward, backward and forward. Her legs move backward and forward. Her knees bend at least once. She comes with a 90s Mattel Barbie brand top and biker shorts with pink sneakers. Her earrings and ring are original. Excellent overall condition for a vintage doll. Sold as is.
