Vintage 7 pierce Sterling silver Repousse Vanity set: Shoe brush, clothes brush, hair brush, scissors, shoe horn, mirror, hair crimp. The set is in need of cleaning but is in excellent condition. This set cira is the last quarter of the 19th century. The set includes a 7 inch clothes brush marked sterling and #479 and Lion, Anchor and G which is the Repousse Pattern of Gorham Sterling Company, second is a pair of Meriden B Company Sterling in which the handles are sterling and the blades stainless steel, measures 7 inches, third is a hair brush that is marked sterling and the #90 in the Repousse pattern, it measures 9 inches, fourth is a shoe brush marked sterling, repousse pattern and marked with lion, anchor and G of the Gorham Sterling Company, it measures 7 inches, fifth is a pair of hair crimpers marked sterling, it measures 7.5 inches, #409 and lion, anchor, G for the Gorham Sterling Company. The handles look to have a scripted M and H but I am not sure, sixth is a shoe horn marked sterling and Black Starr & Frost, it measures 6.25 inches, Seventh is a hand held mirror that is Repousse pattern and matches other Gorham pieces but is not clearly marked that i can see, it measures 11.25 inches.The entire total set weight 922 grams.
