    Description

    For your consideration is a rare piece by Jorge Wilmot.  Jorge Wilmot was a master potter who even employed Ken Edwards before selling his business to Edwards in the 1990s.  Wilmot's artistic pottery is very collectible especially this red, black and white cat.  It has a matte glaze to it instead of the polished pottery you normally see.  The cat is in wonderful condition with some very minor paint loss due to it being "matte" glazed.  There are no chips, nicks, or cracks.  It measures approx. 7 3/4-inches wide; 7-inches tall and has a 5-inch depth.
