Clavos - 1 3/4 inch diameter.  Unfinished metal. (see notes below) Hammered round head. Handmade.  Our clavos are perfect for doors, shutters, cabinets, furniture, gates, fences, carriage doors, frames, mirrors, woodworking projects...  They work well with many design themes - Spanish Mission, Rustic Country, Old-World, Mexican, Southwest...
If you are looking for machine-made clavos, these are not for you. Each is unique.  Weld spots may be visible on newly made clavos. These will go away in time if you want a rustic look. Or, rust may be visible on the clavos.
Not all pieces will have rust in the same parts as the others.
This is natural for raw metal and does not affect the usability.

If you prefer a color, you can easily paint these to the color of your choice.  Spray paints work best.  If used outdoors or in moist or humid areas, we recommend sealing the complete clavo with a Rustoleum type of spray sealer.
The Stem is about 7/8 inch and is individually welded to the head.  The stems will not be perfectly centered.  They may bend a bit during shipping. This does not affect your ability to use them.  Each one is unique and filled with old world-charm.
These are not meant to be hammered in directly. Use a rubber mallet to tap them in after you have drilled a pilot hole.  Clavos are for accents only.
If for any reason you return your order, the whole order must be returned.  You can not pick and choose which clavos you wish to keep.
