Provides protection of the head from damage by 9-mm bullets of PM and APS pistols from a distance of 5 m, as well as from PSM and TT bullets from a distance of 40 m. The helmet provides protection against shrapnel weighing 1 g at a speed of 680 m/s. Coverage is 12.7 sq. DM.
