Holley 4412 500 CFM Hi-Po Carb Built By VDL Fuel Systems, Needs Minor Repair

Description

This is a used Holley 500 CFM 2 barrel carburetor list number 4412. The number on the metering block is 5925, and it has number 72 jets in it. It also has the large 50cc pump, but does not have the Ford automatic transmission kickdown, like most 4412's. There is no air horn, so obviously there is no choke. This carb was built and modified by VDL Fuel Systems. Their website claims they produce the finest 4412 on the market. Be sure to check out their website for more info. I think this one is the one they refer to as gauge legal 4412 for NASCAR, DIRT, IMCA, etc., priced at 0. Please do your own research before bidding to confirm that this carb is correct for your application.
This carb is complete, including a fuel inlet fitting. One of the 4 screws that holds the front bowl on does not tighten, indicating that the threads in the main body for that screw are stripped. The proper way to repair this would be with a heli-coil. Otherwise, this is a pretty nice looking carb, with no broken or damaged parts, and all moving parts move freely. The pump and power valve seem to operate properly. Please bear in mind that as with any carb like this, a racer at some time may have made changes or additional modifications. I don't know the history or current working condition of this carb, so please assume that it may to be rebuilt.
