Fossil Sea Urchins (Tetragamma variole) in matrix, from Morocco

Description

This piece of matrix contains at least four or five sea urchin tests and numerous spines. The piece comes from Taouz, Morocco.
The urchins are probably
Tetragamma variole
and date to the Late
Cretaceous about 90 million years ago.
The entire piece of matrix measures 6.5 by 4.55 by 1.33 inches. There are numerous spines scattered throughout the matrix, presumably having fallen off from the urchins at time of death.
All of my fossils are guaranteed authentic and have been legally obtained.
