Danbury Mint The Pieta by Michelangelo Sterling Silver Plate - 9" - 375g

This is a vintage Danbury Mint
sterling silver collector's plate featuring a recreation of 'The Pieta' based on the original work of Michelangelo. The front features the famous work of art in high relief.
The piece is 9 inches in diameter and weighs 375 grams. It comes in a wooden display case. It also comes with personalized (not pictured for this reason) registration certificate. However, the serial number on the paperwork does not match the serial number on the plate. I have several other unique sterling silver pieces, so be sure to check out my other items.
There is one significant scratch that can be seen in the picture. Otherwise, the piece is in estate condition with small surface scratches and / or blemishes consistent with vintage sterling silver hollowware and there are no monograms. The box and paperwork are also in fair to good condition.
