    Description

    This is an original exhaust manifold thermostatic control or heat riser.  It was used on all 1955 thru 1962 Fords, Thunderbirds and Mercurys with a Y block, 272, 292 or 312 engine.  The heat riser allows your engine to warm up to operating temperature before moving to the fully open position.  It's complete including the bimetal operating spring and the anti-rattle spring.  It was glass beaded and refinished in Hi-Temp cast paint. It works like new and is ready to install.
