Extortionists allegedly targeting Nelson Mandela Bay initiates

KARIEGA, EASTERN CAPE – Initiates in Nelson Mandela Bay are believed to have become the latest victims of extortionists in the area.
Criminals are allegedly demanding money and valuables from the runners who deliver food to the initiation camp.

The Eastern Cape Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs Department, says they’re investigating the matter. MEC, Zolile Williams, is expected to visit the area next week.
